Let’s talk of sustainability- hemp papers!
Although hemp paper may sound like something revolutionary nowadays, it’s not something fresh for individual civilizations in any way. Societies have been using hemp products for thousands of years. Some of the most important records in human history were written on hemp paper. The most remarkable examples would be the “Carta Magna,” the Declaration of Independence, and some say even the very first editions of the Bible.
During the 15th and 16th centuries, industrial hemp was a widespread raw material from occidental societies. Hemp was used to making hemp fabrics, marine equipment, ropes, paper, and much more.
For our generation hemp might seem like an alternative, but in reality it was the primary resource for paper production since it was invented in China back in 100 BC, using a mixture of hemp rags, mulberry bark and water
